We have been working with our friends at Jogging pals over the last 4 years and we love the passion they have for encouraging people to take up physical activity. They run a variety of programs from couch to 5k all the way up to those attempting marathon distances. They also run junior classes for those aged 5-11 and can provide individualized training programs based on your goals. Wayne has been helping Richard to train for his first marathon attempt in May 2020.
We have been working with Anytime fitness over the last year providing support for their members to allow them to continue to train and reach their fitness goals. The gym is very well kitted out with a mixture of cardio machines, resistance machines and free weights and their fitness studio hosts a good mix of classes. The staff are very knowledgeable and provide a very supportive atmosphere for their members and the ability to access the gym 24hrs a day is a great feature.
If you’re looking for a crossfit gym in Kendal that provides a high calibre of coaching and a supportive friendly environment then take a look at House Fitness. They often run free introductory courses for people new to strength training and crossfit. We are also running our strength training for runners classes at this venue starting in January 2020.
KENDAL RUGBY CLUB
Kendal Physio’s involvement with Kendal rugby club stretches back over 20 years. We have been working with them over the last 3 years since their move to their new Mintbridge stadium. The new facility provides amazing facilities with a fully kitted out gym that’s open to the public, floodlit artificial grass pitch and superb bar and conference facilities. We provide physio cover for the senior mens and womens teams and have our satellite clinic based there. Richard is also involved with coaching the under 8’s rugby team.
DARREN HARRIS MASSAGE THERAPY
Darren has been working through the clinic for over 10 years and is one of a few therapists in the country who are trained in structural integration (also known as Rolfing). Not happy with just being an amazing massage therapist and Rolfer, Darren is always looking to further his education and knowledge and understanding of the body. He has also recently added somatic exercise therapy to his never ending list of skills.
Erica Donnison Alexander technique
The Alexander Technique is a self help method which helps you find freedom and poise in your life and relief from chronic back and neck pain. Erica combines her Alexander technique training with POSE running training to help retain people to run forefoot and improve their running.

Ask any local fell or road runner where they go for advice on shoes and to buy the latest running kit and they are more than likely to say Pete Blands. Matt and the rest of the team are very knowledgeable about any gear you might be looking for and are all keen runners themselves. We have several joint projects we are working together on in 2020.
ZOE WILSON FOOT & ANKLE
Zoe is a very experienced podiatrist who specialises in biomechanics we often refer patients to if they are needing orthotic prescription, shockwave treatment or a more specialised assessment of the foot and ankle.
