Physiotherapist

Meet Oscar

Oscar is a HCPC-registered physiotherapist who graduated from Bangor University after making the decision to change careers and retrain in physiotherapy. Before entering healthcare, he studied Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising in Mathematics, Physics and Biology, before working in environmental consultancy.

Oscar has a particular passion for helping people stay active and return to the sports and activities they enjoy. He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, tendon problems, sprains, muscle injuries and sports-related conditions. He has a special interest in running-related injuries and rehabilitation, helping runners of all abilities recover from injury, improve performance and build confidence in their training.

Oscar combines thorough assessment, personalised rehabilitation, hands-on treatment, education and exercise prescription to help patients achieve long-term results. He works closely alongside our experienced senior physiotherapists and is committed to continually developing his clinical skills to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care.

If you’re looking for help with a sports injury, running injury, a recent muscle or joint problem, or want support returning to an active lifestyle, Oscar would be an excellent choice. Outside the clinic, Oscar is an accomplished fell runner who competes for Ambleside Athletics Club and has represented Great Britain internationally. He also enjoys swimming, cycling, tennis and making the most of the Lake District outdoors. Originally from near London, he moved north to study and quickly realised the mountains were much more his style. Now based in Kendal, he is passionate about helping others enjoy everything the Lakes has to offer, whether that’s running, hiking, cycling or simply moving pain-free through everyday life.
