Meet Liam
Liam is a Physiotherapist with a particular expertise in sports medicine, sports rehabilitation and helping both professional and recreational athletes return to the activities they enjoy.
He graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Greater Manchester before completing a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire. He has also gained valuable experience working within professional football, supporting both male and female athletes through injury rehabilitation, performance optimisation and return to sport.
Liam treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including muscle injuries, ligament sprains, tendon problems, joint injuries and sports-related conditions. He has a particular interest in lower limb injuries and helping active people of all abilities recover from injury, return to training safely and continue participating in the sports they love.
His sports medicine background gives him a detailed understanding of the many factors that influence recovery and performance. As well as prescribing the right exercises at the right stage of rehabilitation, Liam works with patients to optimise training load, recovery, sleep, nutrition and lifestyle habits to support long-term results and reduce the risk of future injury.
Liam’s approach combines thorough assessment, personalised rehabilitation, education and progressive exercise programmes to help patients build strength, confidence and resilience. Whether your goal is returning to competitive sport, getting back to the gym or simply enjoying an active lifestyle again, he will work with you to develop a rehabilitation programme tailored to your goals.
If you have a sports injury, muscle or tendon problem, lower limb injury, or are looking for support returning to exercise or competition, Liam would be an excellent choice.
Outside of the clinic, Liam enjoys weight training, road running, playing and coaching football, and is a keen follower of sport, film and theatre. His own passion for sport gives him a genuine appreciation of the physical demands activity places on the body and the importance of helping people return to doing what they enjoy most.
